Décor/Ambiance — Love it. Most of the furniture is wooden. Soft lighting. Slightly too warm on account of it being a BBQ place. Service — The two waitresses were nice enough. But there was a guy today that seemed to be the manager. He ushered people in; by that, I mean he mostly just pointed where people could sit. He walked around the restaurant frequently and seemed to make sure people are doing things correctly(both customer and staff). To me, he seemed controlling and pushy. I got told off for touching the BBQ smoke pipe that’s attached to every table. You’re supposed to move that flexible pipe up or down depending on how much smoke is around. He pounced on our table and said I shouldn’t pull it down too much. Firstly, I wasn’t even playing with it that aggressively. Secondly, I told him he should have told us that particular pipe had an issue and for us not to touch it as soon as we sat down. To which, he completely ignored and reiterated that I shouldn’t touch it so hard. I would have appreciated the little lecture if he didn’t have such an attitude about it. Food — we had the $ 75 set meal to feed 3 – 4 people. The meat selection was generous and very delicious(awesome marinades — my faves are the pork belly and bulgogi beef). My issue is with the«assorted vegetables» that is part of the set. We got a basket of lettuce + about 4 thinly sliced either sweet potato or pumpkin, a piece of corn that’s like even smaller than a quarter of a whole(no joke) and one mushroom. I questioned the waitress, asking if that was right, that these vegetables are supposed to feed four people & I pointed at the booger size of a corn and all she said was«you get the lettuce as well.» Right. Confused. Ok then. If it wasn’t for the quality and taste of the food, i would be giving this place one or two stars. The service and treatment from that guy mentioned above and the lack of thought that went into the vegetable accompaniments disappointed me today.
