This for me is the perfect definition of ‘tea rooms’. The main room has lots of tables seating 2, and since our party had 4, we went into a little dining room. Cakes (mainly cupcakes) are displayed enticingly on the counter on old-​fashioned 2-​tiered glass displays.
Coffee is by Mahalia (YUM!), and my soy latte was delicious. I also tried a beetroot and chocolate cupcake, which was moist and had just the right amount of icing (aka LOTS!). Everyone at our table was very impressed by their coffees and cakes too, everything looked delicious.
Their menu looks very tempting, including High Tea (and Nursery Tea for the kiddies). I’d love to come back here for lunch!
