My favorite of the four cafes around Stanmore station. I actually think the best coffee is at the Little Mule across the street and the best pastry at Molly Coddles (if it is still open), but this place has more of a whole package. Their coffee and pastries are pretty good, their staff is lovely, and it is a really nice place to sit both inside and out. They have big tables and small and toys for the kiddies.
Other selling points:
(1) they don’t charge you extra for decaf
(2) they don’t charge you extra to use a credit card
(3) they have a cool little ap/​frequent buyer thing.
My favorite item was actually the gluten free cookies. So moist!

Just happened to come across this café on their second day of trading. Located opposite Stanmore station, they have a few good competitors nearby with the Little Mule and Molly Coddle, but they have just as equally good coffee and a great selection of pastries. We haven’t tried out the food yet — another reason to go back. Great to see another café in the region.
