In 1987 if you wanted a home loan in SA, you had to go to either a bank or credit union and hoped you made the right choice.

Bernie Lewis, our founder, thought there had to be a better way of finding the right home loan for you. So he established Bernie Lewis Home Loans and it grew to be one of the most recognised and respected brands in the South Australia finance industry.

Bernie was an entrepreneur: innovative, inspirational, and able to think differently and recognise an unmet need. He recognised that people’s financial needs weren’t cared for — they needed a trusted adviser to assess their options and recommend the right solution.
