Good food, quite well priced, but I’ve yet to actually receive the food I ordered here(curry has transformed into sub-par karaage(understandable) and a decent oyakudon(mystifying)). Neither satisfied my curry craving.

Kushi Q is one of the newest editions to Hawken Village. When this little Japanese place opened shop I was intrigued. They have created a funky little shop, that feels very authentic. Kushi is Japanese for food grilled on a skewer and that is primarily what is sold here. They have some really affordable bento boxes, with a kushi skewer of your choice(I like the vegetarian spicy mushroom) accompanied by either noodles or rice, Japanese Pickle, grilled corn, and salad. You can get all this for just over $ 10 too, which makes for a affordable yet hearty meal. I have not had the chance to try everything on the menu yet but will definitely be going back for more soon.
