Two Men & A Truck

So they say moving house is one of the most stress full things you can do in your life. Therefore a removalist company must be well understanding, helpful and above all things. good. like good people, good ethics. etc.
Sadly Two Men and a Truck didnt offer that.
Now I’ve never moved more than about 5 suburbs away at a time. But life sent husband and I from WA to QLD. Big move… HUGE move!
I narrowed down my quotes to two companies and (dammit) went for Two Men.
They were ok until they got the money, and it was A LOT of money.
Then they sent a totally different company to pick up our stuff. This was annoying because I checked the reviews of the third party. eek not good. oh well if I have a problem I could always contact 2 men and a Truck right…
wrong… like so so wrong.
We were told 4 weeks maximum. On the fourth week we called to check up on the delivery. My husband was told to be patient, in the tone one would tell to a child waiting his turn on the xbox… after many messages, emails, phonecalls the manager of Two men told us he would get the third party company to contact us.
Nothing happened. We ended up contacting the third party who had not heard from him. Freaken typical.
The third party was crap and still is, but that’s left for another review. Technically though Two Men and a Truck are responsible for all contractors they hire. They palmed these guys off like a bad stench. One that we are now stuck with.
It’s now been 6 weeks without our stuff! We have not heard from Two men and A Truck for 2 weeks.
I’ve never been so angry! We are leaving for a wedding tomorrow and my dress, shoes bags, Hubby’s Suit are all on that delivery… We are stuck with having to purchase all these again! (I’m checking ACCC on that one)
So. in conclusion, do not hire these guys for anything. No No No… No​.No​.NO NO.
