Needing to grab a quick pre concert bite to eat, I was drawn to this place from the fun branding and cool vibe, also on their side were the large tables & benches for shared dining, that worked perfectly as I was dining solo. Now the schnitzel was good, great even, but the star of the show, the chips. The unique diamond cut makes for amazing crispy edges and soft fluffy middle. And the salt, Devine. These are so so moreish! ‘Best chips ever’ is not a title I brandy around lightly, but these guys have them. The ranch dipping sauce was pretty tasty too. While I’ll admit to being confused by the combination of Ceramic plate, paper bagged chips and plastic sauce container, it made for an easy get up and go once I’d eaten the meal but was still snacking away on those Chips! So there’s only one more thing to say #bringschnitztoadelaide

My first response to finding out there is a Schnitz on Acland St was to run straight down and have some delicious chips! Seriously though, I’ve eaten at a few of these places and a lot of times my food has come out greasy and soggy. This one however, the staff knows what they are doing. The food comes out seasoned perfectly and tasting amazing. The staff are quite friendly, and although sometimes the orders are made quite slowly, it’s definitely worth the wait. The owner is generAlly there saying hello to the customers and taking orders as well. Such a great friendly place to get a quick yummy meal!
