I went here for yum cha. This restaurant is alright, but very empty due to it’s location which is far from St. Albans itself. The décor is Vietnamese style and there’s even a stage which makes me thunk that thus is a wedding/reception place as well. The service was fairly quick, due to the fact there weren’t many tables that were occupied at the time. The dishes were pretty good. The hargow skin was smooth and the filling was good tasting. The siumai was very tasty and the pork filling had a nice and flavoursome taste. The Chicken’s feet was alright, not my favourite, the taste was ok, just a bit soggier than I would’ve thought but that’s alright. The spring rolls, which had pork and cabbage in them, were pretty crunchy and had some flavour to them but a bit of sweet chili sauce livens them up more. The char sui bao was pretty good and rather flavoursome. The prawns in batter were really good and were really tasty especially when you dip them in Tartare sauce. Parking is really easy but watch for potholes in the carpark. Also, for 30 dishes(yes, I ordered multiple dishes of the same thing), as there were 5 other people with me, as there was a 25% discount at the time of writing, it cost just $ 96. Overall, I might come back here if I was closer to this location.
