$ 2.50 Banana Bread! $ 2.50BANANABREAD! I was very excited to discover this place. Maybe not at first, as when I first stepped inside I was rather taken aback with how empty the display cabinet looked, and how desolate the rest of the store was. Just as I was formulating an escape plan the very cheerful woman behind the counter greeted me. I had no choice but to step forward and take a look. Nothing appealed to me greatly, apart from the thickly sliced Banana Bread. I enquired as to the price and was astonished; $ 2.50 Banana Bread! You many think my reaction is a little extreme, but I love Banana Bread and if you’re not a regular eater of this amazing delicacy you won’t appreciate just what good value that is. Most places charge at least $ 4, while I’ve paid up to an obscene $ 7.50 for a slice before. Unfortunately there’s nothing else to rave about in this place, but seriously, $ 2.50 Banana Bread!
