So I had a tuna baguette, not a soup. But I was(wait for it) soup-er happy with it! I had it slightly toasted which was a nice touch. It was flavoursome, and it had olives in it — yum! To top it off it was only $ 5.50! I had to ask twice because I didn’t think you could get a tasty lunch around here for that kinda price. Small nice touch, they walk out front to hand you the food. I don’t know why I like this, I just do…

Yeah it’s alright, as is the name suggests, one of many places with a similar title across Melbourne being a chain. pretty decent sandwiches/paninini /other bread based lunching items store. Good fillings and combinations, but not very filling. It’s a better option than most around the area, with none of the compulsory 13 kilogramsof mayonnaise that seems to be added to every sandwich/filled rolls these days, coming in one the 330 litre industrial tubs. I dont trust the gloopy stuff, let alone when its’ been under a griller. Yes Southbank, I know you were designed in the 90’s but mayonnaise on everything just doesn’t cut it anymore. That’s why I like soup place. No mayo. That I’ve found. Yet. Then it winter time it serves something amazing… SOUP! wowsers!
