I first dined here a few years back, and it does seem to be one of the better pizza places in the area. Far better than La porchetta by any means. It’s small inside and hasn’t really changed over the years but is also expensive. Pizza wise, you’ll find all the regulars, and flavour and qaulity wise, these guys are pretty good. Pizza is done well but is not too fancy, but at the same time is far removed from the stodgy greasy shitty pizza places. Possible recommendation for getting take away and eating in the near by fawkner park as a picnic option.

Ticino was my local takeaway pizza haunt for quite a while. I always believe in supporting any local businesses and these owner operated pizza places are far better than the big name ones I think. Whilst its not glam or hip, Ticino does have a few tables and benches inside but I reckon most their customers do take away, and the wait time from order to readyness is pretty quick. Usual suspects on the menu, most of the pizzas I’ve had we’re tasty and never soggy. Don’t expect any gourmet twists in the offerings though, it’s pretty standard. Ticinos also serves other food such as several pasta dishes which were decent in portion and taste. Good for a late night feed.
