Punthill South Yarra Grand

Awesome place to be in. Near the subway, surrounded by food. And gorgeous food mind you, zumbo is just behind, Einstein relative is next door, awesome Vietnamese rolls is out on the main street, 2 birds 1 stone is just a stones throw away… pun very much intended.
Comfy and cosy apartment. Friendly staff.
Gym is a bit of a letdown but get out and jog instead along the south yarra river. Awesome feeling and view.
For the apartment there’s a microwave, an oven and such but don’t expect a regular frying pan available in the kitchen. But with all the good food available who wants to cook right?
And hey next door is a construction site… a bit noisy in the morn but there is some eye candy… Aye ladies?

I loved this place, we booked online there was a slight mix up (not the hotels fault) and they fixed it before we could get a coffee, them room was lovely, we had our own little pet dog on the balcony, we called it Boris, it liked wasabi peas. The view over the railway station was great, there were steam trains going through abs with the freezing foggy weather it looked spectacular.
We woke up in the morning and there were hot air balloons outside the balcony. To the distance, and the moon was still out, gorgeous.
The hotel is right near chapel street and some amazing restaurants and fantastic shopping, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a lovely hotel in a gorgeous location.
