Our washing machine broke at home :(
We’ve always hated using a laundromat. It rarely needs to happen but when it does, the experience always leaves me hating humanity.
South Freo Laundrette is welcoming, bright and clean! The lady who worked there (possibly owns it as well?) was there cleaning before closing and she was lovely! The 2nd time we went there, we prepared ourselves with tea, cookies and cards and hung out there while waiting for our clothes to be cleaned :)
Washing machine load is $ 4. Only uses $ 1 coins but they have a change machine if you’re not prepared. (Didn’t use the dryers.)

Okay… I am at a laundromat! !!! A first time user…
Honestly, as a person who has always had full laundry facilities available at home, I was daunted at the thought of needing to visit a laundromat. But with the weather turning wet and cold, the need to use a dryer being essential…
so here I am, in a lovely bright and colorful room… waiting for my washing to dry… enjoying a coffee I picked up down the street and watching the world go by…
The place is clean and pleasant, and all machines are working !!!
Overall, for what it is… A great experience!
