Let me tell you about this Battery World hero, Matt. MATT! You are a living legend. You single handedly helped, nay, SAVED two severely jet lagged women from a bush expedition destined to tragic battery exhaustion. Long live the battery king, Matt.

Battery World has come to the rescue many times and they have the most comprehensive collection of batteries available anywhere in Adelaide. From tiny watch batteries to the larger ones like for cars, basically for any product that requires a bettery they’ve got it, and if it’s not in stock they can do a search and order it in. If you’re not too fussed about the brand of battery you use and are happy for a generic one, not only will you save money but chances are they will have it in stock.
I used to put a citronella collar on my noisy, barky dog at night and that took a 6V 2CR-​1/​3 battery, not what you’d call your standard, off the shelf supermarket brand. So besides going to the veterinarian to get one at double the price, Battery World had it and they say it’s a common one for them to stock as there’s a demand. I have also purchased camera batteries, torch batteries and normal AA and AAA batteries from this branch.
The guys behind the counter there are always helpful and very friendly, plus they can record your purchases, so next time you don’t need to take in the old battery or packet to show them. Also their website is a great help as you can do a battery search yourself to see if they’ve got it in stock and at which store.
