Oh my what lovely service and at 5pm when some shops are thinking of closing!
I had skipped lunch and just wanted to try a new place that I had walked past several times. There were a number of people there and the food looked very fresh. I had a toasted sandwich that was so filling and a great combination of tomato, ham, cheese and olives. The sandwich was made on wholemeal bread that looked and tasted homemade.
The coffee was HOT! Yes they knew to heat the cups and not to burn the coffee. What a great uplift at the end of a busy day. Then the little patty cakes were a little treat to myself. I did share one!
Throughout the whole time there was no one cleaning around the tables and packing up. The staff were encouraging customers quietly to enjoy their time. Some of the customers were busy reading their tablets, papers and some just watching the crowd walking by. A nice little spot for checking out the talent too! ha
I think I will be back.
