History

Established in 2006.

Shanon Newson was always a bit of a computer nerd.

In the late 90’s he would often do extra work outside his regular job fixing computers, setting up simple TV systems and generally helping out with all things tech. By 2006 he was so busy doing this that he quit work and went out on his own. Straight Forward AV and IT has been growing ever since.

Every year new technology and expertise are added to the very long list of services that Straight Forward offer. We now have local mobile staff who can assist people and businesses «on the ground» and a back-​end support crew who can provide remote assistance, design and almost anything else you can think of.

The future of the business will be «cloud» based. Shanon’s always thought that’s a bit of a silly name for «the internet» but whatever you call it we’re experts in it.
