Decided to get a sneaky bacon and egg roll and a coffee before work. Was around 7:30am on a weekday and it was pretty quite but getting busier. There was one or two people behind the counter who didn’t really greet me more than what do you want. and this is how much it is. The bacon and egg roll was good, nothing to special but for $ 7 takeaway and a coffee $ 3 was not a bad price wise and taste wise as well. Took about 10 minutes which again was great but while I was waiting the guy behind the counter was dropping the F bomb quite a few times. with kids walking in and out and in earshot. something I wasn’t a huge fan of but hey, I don’t have to live there so. I was happy to get my roll and coffee and go to work!

Best milkshakes in Rose Bay. To die for. I had enough milkshakes to know the difference. In a city where people don’t put enough flavor or ice cream in them Espresso On Dover don’t skimp.

A sunny day led me to Rose Bay where I was looking for a place to brunch. Espresso On Dover was an easy choice to make since there were quite a few people munching inside, evidence that the food must be pretty good. The breakfast menu was rather standard, with egg and dairy plates filling the menu. Disappointingly, the restaurant itself is not decorated nicely at all. The walls are scuffed, the chairs aren’t very comfortable, and everything just looks gray. There is large plasma screen that was playing the news. The servers were kind and attentive, but not very warm. I ordered a cappuccino which was a bit too milky. To fill my belly, I got the eggs B.L.A.T., which was served on a toasted bagel. There were heaps of crispy bacon(really tasty), tomato, and avocado with some mayo. I can’t say that it was particularly unique or outstanding, but it was a solid breakfast meal for around $ 15(not including the coffee). I’d recommend this place for a simple, filling breakfast, but don’t expect anything beyond that.

Espresso on Dover is situated on the corner of New South Head Road and Dover Road… it’s a lovely café which has a wonderful array of food… Its a great place to grab a coffee and breakky — but I’d avoid lunch as it can be a little flavourless… they have the usual suspects on the menu… egg, toast, smoothies, coffee… but the portions are decent and the food is quite nice… Its a very relaxed atmosphere and I noticed there were quite a few mother and babies… and since the restaurant is fairly big it was easy for them to menouvre around… Prices are reasonable… and not a bad spot to grab a breakky and coffee with friends.
