Flowers you say? Flowers for your bedside table? Flowers for a friend as a cheer up gift? Flowers for an event? If it is flowers you’re after, Flowerlovers are worth the drive to Rocklea to discover a floral wonderland. Direct from the markets, these blooms are in hot demand and it is worth planning ahead to arrive early in the morning. They’re fresh and seasonal. Often times inspiration doesn’t strike until I’m standing in the cold room and the blooms are before me. But that’s the beauty of a place like this. The florists on hand are there to lend a hand, to create you something beautiful depending on the occassion or suggest the perfect vessel for your blooms. Pro Tip: If you really must you can order a number of pre-designed bouquets via their website.

Had a wonderful time at a bulb flower work shop tonight. Was great! And I got to keep my arrangement…

«The most beautiful bunch of flowers I’ve ever seen»…or so my grandmother tells me. I don’t know whether it’s grandson bias or just that they were lovely flowers, but I really can’t fault the Flowerlovers experience. I called up Tuesday afternoon with a very vague description of what I wanted, and a rough price in mind. What can I say — Flowerlovers delivered! A beautiful boquet arrived at 9AM the next morning on the recipient’s door step in perfect order. I’ve been partial to the«nationwide» flower delivery vendors in the past, but after this experience I’m more than willing to try local vendors again.

Flowers are so beautiful yet so expensive for something that will wilt and die within a week. They are the go to gift for birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, or just anytime you want to do something nice for someone. Unfortunately, there are all too many florists around that charge and arm and a leg for stunning arrangements whose petals begin to fade not long after they leave the shop. This is why I prefer to get my flowers from the Brisbane Flower Market, from stores like FlowerLovers. Flowerlovers have cheap bunches of flowers. Ridiculously cheap. When I visited today they had dozens of lilies on sale! Now you will not find any exquisitely put together arrangements or bouquets here but what you do find is cheap flowers. I highly recommend these guys for your flower needs, especially if all you want is something nice and inexpensive, rather than overly fancy. And, after all, what else is needed when you have the beauty and scent of fresh lilies wafting through your house.
