Established in 1991.

The Shelford Group, an accomplished Perth building company specialising in commercial, industrial and civil building projects was established in 1991 by industry professional Tony Plumb. Two years after the company’s inception, Tony invited John Mijacika to join him as Construction Manager and together they have built this wholly WA owned and operated business into a competitive force in both Perth’s commercial construction and residential building sectors. With the tree-​change becoming a popular lifestyle choice for Perth people today, Shelford Quality Homes has also acquired a significant level of site experience and expertise building on rural blocks, including thorough understanding of design guidelines and building envelopes, soil conditions and bush fire risks. Manager

Tony Plumb began his career in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor. After moving to Australia from his native London, Tony took up a position with Sabemo, a major commercial construction contractor take over by Transfield in the late 1980s. In 1991 Tony joined forces with John Mijacika to form Shelford Constructions, and together they have guided the company’s evolution over the past two decades into a major player in both Perth’s commercial construction and residential building sectors. Tony’s astute yet friendly manner ensures his popularity with both subcontractors and clients alike, and with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability and quality construction, Tony and his team continue to offer competitive pricing without compromise!
