This nandos was great until the port Kennedy one opened. Now it seems to have gone down hill. The speed and the quality have dropped. Hopefully it improves again after the renos are done.

I have to admit to finding myself a biting a regular here.
It’s fairly quick, tasty and if you choose carefully not that bad for you.
Food is usually hot when it’s bagged up and you don’t have to reheat on arrival at home.
Staff on the whole are fairly good also.

I decided to try out Nando’s toady, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I ordered a quater chicken and chips with lemon and herb peri-​peri, and it was very tasty. The chicken was well cooked and the serving was a decent size. I also did not have to wait long before my food arrived. The marinade was strong, and combined perfectly with the chargrilled chicken flavours. I will certainly be back.
The interior, although small, was actually quite spacious. My one complaints was the seating: it could do with some padding. And the noise level in the restaurant was at an acceptable level, a rarity for this area.
Also, I get the loyalty card idea, but I already have enough of those and don’t really want yet another pushed at me.

a regular place that I visit when i’m in the area and just want something quick to eat, there isn’t a long wait for food generally because it doesn’t have table service but the food is always great. Could always be a little hotter but generally we wipe the sheves out of their extremely hot marinades to purchase so we can cook our own chicken at home when we have the need for something hot. Prices are middle ranged but the service is generally good. Great place to take the family if yoou don’t want a fine dining experience.

Lovely flame grilled Portuguese style hot peri-​peri chicken. Absolutely superb. If you’ve never tried flame grilled nandos. You haven’t lived. I held off on going to nandos when they first came out. And now I regret that I could have been loving them sooner ;) Family styled restaurant in that, on most occasions it’s easy to get in and out fast. Only downside is that their not licensed. So you can’t enjoy a wine with your meal. All though on the upside they do sell all their peri-​peri sauces so you can do as I do, and do your own at home. Either on the weber or the BBQ fantastic (I thoroughly recommend the weber!)
