I have been going to this restaurant since I was 8 years old and I still love it! Good prices and huge servings.

Food is cheap and service is chop chop(fast but rough). I usually order their bbq pork and rice dish for $ 10 but the pork is a bit hit-n-miss, sometimes it’s nice but other times it is really dry and hard to chew. They don’t take eftpos, cash only so don’t get caught out without any money.

I can’t believe this place wasn’t in the database! Situated in the Sunnybank Plaza foodcourt, Café Mi is a Chinese style café serving up a variety of cheap food. We came here on on a thursday a little after midday, Café Mi was quite packed however there was no issues in getting a table. There’s table service but you need to flag down a staff member to get your order taken, which is a-ok as it gives you as much time as you need to browse their extensive menu. The menu ranges from Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Portugese curry(?) and I even saw a club sandwich and chips on their. Most dishes are around the $ 10 market which is good if you’re frugal. My friend ordered a double combo sort of a thing which came with one half chicken karaage on rice and the other chicken teriyaki, unfortuntely he found what appeared to be a deceased insect in his dish which was pretty gross, he proceeded to eat both the insect and the rest of his food anyway lmao. I had a noodle soup which was pretty great and my other friend had the portugese curry which was served in a carved out bread roll. Overall an ok place to get a quick and cheap lunch if you’re in the Sunnybank Plaza. I’m not in a hurry to go back though, there’s much better restaurants in Sunnybank.
