The Richmond Library isn’t the jewel in the City of Yarra’s library system. It’s a very plain building compared to Fitzroy, and the location isn’t entirely convenient as it isn’t central to Richmond. But it does have excellent 2P hour Parking around side from 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday.
It seemed quiet compared to the Collingwood and Fitzroy libraries, which are usually buzzing with kids. There doesn’t seem to be the same space avaliable here as at the other libraries, such as meeting rooms.
But it did have a wider selection of the books I wanted — probably because it is quieter and doesn’t get as much trade as the other services.
