Howard’s Storage World is like crack for neat freaks — highly addictive. This is a shop that can let you micro manage every aspect of your home and office and car and handbag and any other place you could conceivably need to organise. While I prefer the range of IKEA storage systems for wardrobes or kitchens etc, like the never ending Billy bookcase range, for those of us who rent or who can’t afford to shell out the big bucks for a full IKEA system, Howard’s Storage World supplies some fairly reasonably priced solutions. Got a lack of space in the bathroom? Howard can sort you out with over the door towel racks and a range of plastic or metal shower storage caddies. Not to mention some natty makeup storage inserts for the bathroom cabinet drawers. Nasty landlord won’t let you put picture hooks in the wall? Howard has all the removable picture hooks you can desire. Have a weird little space that needs some sort of do-waddy to fit into it to make it a useful space? I’m pretty sure Howard has something to fit that space — and while you are at, about a 100 other items you never knew you needed until you saw them in Howards store(not unlike it’s pal, IKEA, upstairs) and then you have to have them NOW. Yes, your life was fine while you didn’t know they existed and that there wasn’t a solution to that annoying drawer or the shelf in the car nothing ever seemed to fit into, but now you know, well, you’re just going to have to buy it cause it is going to bug you endlessly that there is now a practical solution to a daily annoyance you had just written off as your lot in life but that now seems intolerable. Take money and lots of it. You have been warned!
