This place is sensational, if a country op shop, bunnings and a garden nursury had alive child this would be it! While I live locally, i now visit here BEFORE I go to bunnings — as the have a huge range of well sorted building and household supplies. Their plants are overflow stock from Gardenworld in Springvale — a very reputable nursury — and they plants have always survived very well. Good range of roses and fruit trees — at bargain prices. There is a good range of furniture, not much in the way of soft furnishings — but that is to be expected — no one would want a partially wet manky couch! Great range of blinds of all types and tools/household gear. Surprisingly good range of CD’s too! Prices are cheap by the standards of other op shops in the inner north, and the staff are very helpful and accommodating too!

Resource Recovery Centre, Outlook Market, whatever you want to call it, its A TIPSHOP! The first time I made the mission out here I thought I had died and gone to trash heaven. The place isn’t easy to find and a car is necessary(borrow a big one if you want to fill it with stuff). There is a small nursery at the front stocking cheap, hardy plants well below the bollocks prices of Bunnings. The shop itself is a massive warehouse organised into rows of various recovered goods. Think Bric a Brac/crockery, electrical goods, lamps, light shades, sound speaker, stereos, hardware, mechanical tools, furniture, clothes, records, books, frames, toys, bikes, timber, building materials and even the kitchen sink(multiple). Theres a back area with piles of timber, door frames, metal/ceramic sinks, outdoor furniture, BBQ’s and bikes all grouped as if they have just been cleaned up after a natural disaster. There is a kind of post-apocalyptic vibe about the place, foraging through recovered items attempting to give recycled items a fresh purpose. I recommend coming here for cheap plants and outdoor furniture. I am leaving one star off as I feel their pricing has climbed in the last 12 months.
