History

Established in 2014.

Laser Electrical and Plumbing currently has over 200 members and has evolved to become the leading electrical and plumbing contracting network across Australia and New Zealand.

In 1983, Peter Bassett and David Clemmett, two entrepreneurial electricians, decided to set up their own electrical contracting company, called Laser Electrical Ltd. The business grew rapidly with a strong focus being placed on outstanding customer service and implementing strong business systems.

In 1999, the Laser business model was developed and licensed. In 2003 it became a full membership business model.

In 2004, Laser expanded its operations into Australia. Due to a company culture that recognises innovation, Laser Plumbing was initiated in 2006, which utilises the same award winning systems and processes Laser was built upon in both the Australian and New Zealand market.

Laser Electrical and Plumbing Regency Park is our third franchise in the Laser group.

We are passionate and dedicated to our clients and fellow Laser Businesses, and always looking for new opportunities to grow the Laser Brand and service our clients better.

I have worked in the Commercial/​Industrial Contracting Industry and was with a previous Laser business for almost 20 years.

For the last 7 years as GM of a Laser Business, I guided the business through many industry, market, brand and software changes this has provided me with vital skills to successfully manage a business through any phase.

In addition I have always actively sought new personal and business challenges by spending time listening to clients and the industry to ensure evolution with the marketplace.

This has led to joining an exciting multi award winning Laser business which is a leader in National & Trans Tasman Contract Management, Design & Construct Project and Energy Efficiency. We are well positioned to provide expert advice as a member of the Green Building Council of Australia, Certifie
