The food was divine in this place! We followed the trusty reviews of fellow Unilocalers and everyone recommended the lamb tagine. This is seriously not to be missed. The meat was so tenderly cooked that it fell off the bones easily. The dish was well balanced with spices and well marinated too. We devoured the couscous underneath, not letting a drop of sauce go to waste! The other Tagine we got was equally as nice. I think it was the beef ball Tagine, but the highlight was definitely the lamb. As for starters, we got the duck pâté infused with morrocan spices. It was so flavourful that we got two servings of freshly baked herb bread to mop up every bit of it! Suffice to say, we were a little full by the time our mains arrived, but it was so good that we emptied the plates in no time. They say you have a separate stomach for dessert, but I think they’re missing something — there’s probably another stomach for Tagine too! There’s always space for a good tagine! We were too full and didn’t end up having any desserts altho it did look nice. We will be back! (Apologies for the inconsistent case for Tagine. Autocorrect kept inserting Tagline whenever I type Tagine)

Had a voucher for this place from the Entertainment Book, so decided to check it out. It was a great find! Started with the duck pâté, which was tasty. I had the lamb tangine and my husband had the meat balls — both were amazing! So much flavour. The lamb was slow cooked and beyond tendor with apricots and cinnamon flavour. So. Freaking. Good. The meat balls were awesome too — they had the perfect amount of spice! Both were served on a bed of couscous. We split the triple chocolate mousse for dessert, which was also great! The restaurant is BYO — $ 4 corkage pp.

What a really nice night we had at Moroccan feast, service was great, our waiter was very attentive, mind you we did have the restaurant to ourselves, we had the lamb tagine, spicy cigars, Marrakesh chicken, crumbed meatballs, spicy sausages, beetroot salad and finished it all off with the chocolate soufflé’ and i can fault not one dish, the meat was all so tender. and was pretty generous serves. The only odd thing of the night was when we ordered a scotch and coke, the waiter would go out back then walk in thru the front door drink in hand. we don’t know where he went to get it but it did make us giggle. Highly recommend Moroccan feast.

Well after the reviews I was in two minds about trying this restaurant and I am so glad I did. The food was beautiful we had the lamb tagine(a must) spicy sausage, Marrakech chicken and crumbed meatballs. All main came with couscous. So if you have not already realised we are not vegetarians lol. The meat was so tender and flavoursome. Other reviews have said the service was a little slow but I have nothing but praise for the service, the waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Loved this little place!

I’ve driven and walked past this restaurant many times as there’s a few places that seemed to be long stayers but never actually eaten at any of them. Decided to take the gamble with my cousin and boy was I glad I did! The signature dish of lamb tagine was mouth-watering(my order!). Slow booked lamb which just melted away on the bone. She ordered the other chef recommendation of spicy sausages which were also nice but the lamb was definitely a star. I could see other tables also ordering exactly the same thing. To combat the meat, we ordered the coriander and beetroot salad which cut through nicely. Both the mains came with couscous. We couldn’t actually finish the meal even though the sizes didn’t seem overly large… maybe cos we were two girls? I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other tagines. The service on the other hand was hit and miss. There were only 2 staff running around and the restaurant wasn’t even full but I could see they were struggling. The girl was much more friendlier than the guy who was quite dismissive. Trying to wave one of them to order was interesting as you couldn’t really get their attention easily as they were too busy. Finally we managed to get the guy come around to us. The menu was a little confusing as it listed 4 salads for $ 18 which seemed a little strange to me as I definitely didn’t want to order 4 salads. I asked the guy which one he would recommend and he suggested the coriander and beetroot which we ended up going with but then I asked him about the rest thinking we had to order 4 salads… anyway his response was«It’s up to you, how do I know which salad you’d like, you would know more than me what you’d like». Truly strange response plus he didn’t have a positive demeanour. The girl was smiling a lot more when she was wandering around. Anyway, food awesome, service is questionable… but tolerable.

The food at Moroccan feast is authentic and delicious, there are not too many Moroccan restaurants around and this is a good one. The food is cooked and served tagine style and is full of flavour. As often is the case I struggled to decide what I to order as there were multiple enticing choices, I nearly went for the meatballs, but I settled on the Morrocan Moussaka which was a good choice, although served in a tomato and chilli sauce, I did not find it too spicy. My friend who ordered the Marrakesh Chicken found the flavours too strong for her liking, but I had absolutely no problem finishing her meal. The dim lighting scheme makes for a sedate, relaxing atmosphere, it would be a good choice of restaurant for a romantic dinner. The only negative comment I would make is the corkage charge, which is $ 4.00 per person, I think this is unreasonable, I don’t mind paying a couple of dollars for corkage, but come on all the wine bottles are screw top anyway now, you’re not even paying for them to open it for you.
