I have never encountered such poor customer service in all of my life, and to top it all off the staff were rude to us, too! There’s a ticket system in place here, in which you have to take a ticket in order to be served. We observed this when we first walked through the door and, being the responsible patrons that we are, took a ticket. However, our tickets were called with such rapid fire that there was no opportunity to respond before the server moved on to the next customer. When this was pointed out, there was a shrug of the shoulders and the horrible woman behind the counter glared at me and said: «Well, whaddya want?». I very quickly said: «Absolutely nothing with that attitude», and was met with an incredibly obnoxious«Ok, no worries! Have a wonderful day! See you later now!». Honestly, the 14 year olds at McDonald’s have better customer service than your bakery does. There’s no need for the attitude whatsoever. Whomever served us today is absolutely disgusting, and we will not be visiting your establishment again. Especially not if it means having to encounter that greasy menopausal hag ever again.

My chicken pie tastes just average & uses fatty thigh meat with skin. Not what I expected from an «award winning» pie shop.

Never thought I would be a fan of the meat pie at the Rolling Pin, but as they had just been voted Best Meat Pie 2013 I thought I should at least try them. Pleasantly surprised, chunky lean beef in a good gravy with perhaps only a touch too much pepper encased in thin crisp pastry. Made for a quick tasty lunch with some Maggies Kitchen spicy tomato sauce.

Not a fan. The pies taste like they use every part of the animal except the meat and the service is just as bad. Loads of other great places to get bakery items than here.

I adore the pastries and slices here. Everything tasted just like home and how I’d remembered years ago strolling along Hesse St with a cup of coffee and a slice, looking at all the lovely stores. Service was fast and friendly.
