F.A.T.S Digital

I love the staff at F.A.T.S Digital. They should all get a pay rise and four day weeks and I don’t know what else — a fat unicorn with a stubby horn (for safety).
As I work in film and television, there are a lot of technical requirements which go over my head. Should I export my digital file as animation format or ProRes22? What is a betacam tape and why do I need to make one?
The other week I put in an order to burn one hundred DVDs of my short film with a trailer at the end. I placed the order and went home where I happened to view the trailer and realised that the director had accidently added 30 seconds of cut footage.
In a panic, I rang FATS asking them to stop processing the job until I could get them a new file. The lovely guys at FATS offered to cut out the excess footage for me from their end saving me probably hours of fidgety technical work.
This aside, they are just nice, friendly guys always willing to explain technical issues in English and going out of their way to make my job easier.
Their prices are the best in town as well. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for all your digital replication needs.

F.A.T.S Digital are awesome guys to work with when you need to sort out your audio-​visual business. I work in music, so a lot of the music videos we record need to be converted for TV and various other cable stations. The Fats guys are quick, reliable and relatively cheap.
They offer services like CD, DVD, Blu-​ray Copying, Duplication, Replication, USB, Digital print & Digital Services, iTunes movie and audio creation, mailing services and packaging .
They also have a rental section which covers some great pieces of equipment for broadcast quality shoots.
