A beautiful location, but of course as it accommodates westerners and tourist trade the food is a bit English Tea Rooms meets Chinese Tea House(I’m currently enjoying jasmine tea with scones and jam). Quite kid friendly — the koi pond is great entertainment. Some vegetarian options(quiche, vegetable bun, scones, cupcakes)

My ideal afternoon tea is all about relaxation and serenity. It should wash away the worries of the day. Within the beautiful Chinese Garden of Friendship is a tea house that allows you to enjoy a cup of their specialty tea while looking out onto a lake and a beautiful garden. They also offer delicious food to nibble on such as the Dim Sum sampler which is so good that it will make you forget why you needed to relax in the first place. If you are in need of a quick fix to stress, the Chinese Garden Tea House is open on weekends, Monday holidays, and Free days from 11am to 4pm. A perfect place to hang out with a friend, a partner, or even with a good book.
