Lizards on the Fridge

This one shop in Prospect you need to visit, it has some absolutely wonderful and unique gifts available in Adelaide. It’s so refreshing to see something different and new in a gift shop, sure there are many around but it’s rare to find one so inviting.
The staff are really helpful and friendly and the four legged shop mascot is on hand for some pet therapy.
I love a bargain and always have a look on their discount table, as it can be an out of fashion items, slightly shop damaged, but generally there’s nothing wrong with it.
There’s a whole spectrum of home décor and useful giftware to purchase spanning fro people to pets to babies to anyone.
Prices are reasonable and it’s a pleasure to shop.

What an inviting shop! If you need to pick up a gift for a mum/​grandma/​older lady in your life, this is the first place to head.
It’s an absolute pleasure to shop here — chilled out and welcoming, no huge crowds, lots of well-​priced goodies, delightfully friendly staff. There is usually a pet of some kind roaming the store on any given day as well which scores big in my book. Lizards is basically the opposite of a bland, characterless franchise where the employees don’t care about anything beyond getting paid.
Prices are really good: you could pick up a piece of jewellery or trinket for less than a $ 20 easily. It delivers the whole gift shopping experience, with a great card and paper selection as well as a lovely wrapping service.
What I like about Lizards is that it focuses on both form AND function, selecting pieces that are useful as well as designed well. A far cry from most ornamentation-​is-​everything gift stores! So we’re talking gardening implements that are pretty as they are useful, mobile phone holders, hooks, aprons, baby wear and everything in between. There should be more stores like this!
