The Preston Salvos is nothing to much to «Yelp» about but I shall in order to save you guys time and potential disappointment. The stores location immediately provides a few hurdles. Its in stiff competition with numerous surrounding chasian stores selling new bric a brac and basic clothes for usually lower than the salvos asking price. Second is the areas demographic, local donations are apparently low and of crappy quality so stock is shipped in from other stores. I wonder if this is the stock that didn’t sell the first time round. There isnt a great vibe to the store and the stock is rather dull, think Millers, Supre, NOW, 90’s Diana Ferrari etc. Not much actual vintage or interesting bric a brac but there always seem to be a considerable shoe selection. There is usually decent furniture up the back and I have seen a few good dressing tables and couches reasonably priced. Happen to be in Preston, yes. Destination, no.
