It’s definitely not the best sushi place I’ve ever been to but not the worst either. The staff working there are very friendly, but they’re Chinese and seem not to know what they’re doing. The sashimi I ordered wasn’t sliced properly and bits were still stuck together. The fish itself seemed reasonably fresh so that’s a positive at least. Prices are pretty reasonable, but with the wealth of great sushi places around town, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Chinese owned/operated and they haven’t invested in learning about Japanese cuisine at all. Terribly oily and lacking in flavour. The staff are friendly but they need to employ a Japanese chef and get their menu/offering in order.

This was one of the best places for various rolls but its been sold and the new owners seem to have idea even how to cook the rice. Beworned, the hot food may still be OK

Sushi-Handroll is probably one of my favourite Sushi destinations, this is because they have really great and most importantly FRESH sushi. There have been way too many times that I have stopped to grab a Sushi roll in a food court, on the street, from a café and it has been dry, old and very unsatisfying. This however is not the case at Sushi-Handroll all the SUshi is made totally fresh either in the morning or on the spot while you wait! Some of my favourite Sushi rolls so far have been the Salmon Sashimi, Teriyaki Chicken and the Avacado. Sushi-Handroll also has a range of main meals to choose from if your after something a little heavier than Sushi. You can choose from yummy Japanese dishes like Pork Katsu, Ebi Curry and Age Dashi Tofu. Conveniently located on High Street Prahran Sushi-Handroll is perfect for a quick SUshi Stop or a tasty Japanese dinner.

I love Japanese, so naturally it was a no brainer when I was looking for a fast healthy lunch in Prahran. This place does some really nice sushi. It’s made fresh and it’s obvious. It’s great to have sushi that hasn’t been sitting in a fridge for 3 days. I highly recommend the crap and avocado hand rolls, and the tuna sashimi is also worth a try. These guys are also open for dinner, and the menu looks pretty good.
