History
Established in 1992.
I opened St Kilda Art Supplies in 1992 because I could not buy a piece of cartridge paper in St Kilda or afford to travel to Art Stretchers in Fitzroy.
The original store was in the heart of St Kilda surrounded by artists, creative types and colourful locals. These were truly humble beginnings. The cash register was tin with Gould league stickers and the furnishings were courtesy of the local primary school dump master.
