Here visiting friends in Sydney for a few weeks and wanted to pick them out something nice for their apartment. Staff were very helpful and quite creative. Most importantly the selections were beautiful, fresh, and lively. Could spend a few hundred here real quick and easy with all they have to offer.

Who doesn’t eagerly sprint down the stairs in anticipation of a big package? Especially when that’s what’s promised by the man at the other end of the buzzer?(Seriously. That’s what he said. «I have a *big package* for Laura.) And big it was. When I reached the door I was rewarded not with the fireman, policeman or pizza guy transported from a 80s porno as I’d initially hoped, but with one of the most beautiful and exotic bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen. And this package was so much better. Obviously my bouquet had been handcrafted by a creative and passionate florist due to the beautiful texture not only of the floral arrangement, but of the card, ribbon, twine and paper it came wrapped in. Simple, natural touches really made this specific bouquet of flowers stand out. If you too would like to spoil someone with an all-natural big package, I couldn’t recommend PoHo more. They oozed style and class, unlike this review. Ahem.

PoHo is such a beautiful flower shop because as well as being a business(and even though their motivation is to serve the business) they add to the surrounding environment. It is nice just to walk past the shop because it is like a little garden is spilling out all over the street, it is impossible not to be impressed. There are little ladders with potted plant on the steps and wooden chairs covered with pots of flowers and all kinds of flowers and plants all over the side walk, it tempts me to throw a blanket down and have picnic in the middle of the street. As a business what is really good about PoHo is their particular focus on creative style in their flower arranging. They even offer a selection of sculptural flower arranging which is great and really treating it as an art form. What they are doing with native Australian flowers is particularly impressive.
