Love this place! Went here with a friend and got a bottle of champagne one night — also there was an event going on so they were giving out free snacks and food. Love the design inside –almost like an indoor garden party and very swanky!

Want somewhere to go in the cross without feeling too seedy? Kit and Kaboodle is your answer. Take the stairs covered in art all the way to the top floor and you will find yourself in a retro blur of printed carpet, white wicker chairs and dark stained walls. The bartenders will be able to whip up tasty cocktails while you dance to the latest pop hits. The crowd, just like the décor, are pretty spiffy and know how to have a good time. The cover charge($ 15 – 20) can be off-putting unless you know someone who works there or have a member’s card and the pretentiousness at the front of house is relatively unnecessary. I can understand choosing your patrons is important to prevent fights or excessive drunks but I’m here for a night out of fun and I don’t need your attitude.

Kit and Kaboodle Supper Club attracts large crows on a Sunday evening. Quite often they have regular events which coincide with public holidays or occasions such as Halloween. The staff and event manager go all out to ensure that everyone hears about their events. Last night I went to Kit and Kaboodle(a Sunday) and the venue was packed for the brim. While it may have been for my friends birthday with a Halloween theme dominating the night, I’m told it’s that popular almost every Sunday. There are plenty of levels in Kit and Kaboodle– which makes it fun to explore but difficult to find friends. The bar line is a few feet deep with patrons so buying drinks can take awhile. The major drawback of Kit and Kaboodle is the heat. With so many people dancing, I was literally sweating a river(which is not a nice visual).

Contemporary kitsch meets vintage glam inside this 24 hour opener as a refreshing chic alternative to usual sleazy round the clock venues. Red and gold colours deck decadent interior across couches, ottomans, antique light fittings and a deco inspired zig zag bar. Find frivolous late night good times and all night pizza — just seven bucks a pop on Sundays… the perfect recovery solution. Try tiger prawn, baby spinach, roasted tomatoes, goat’s cheese and pesto; or tandoori chicken with lemon, mint yoghurt and mango chutney. The Red Lotus Bellini is a fruity twist on an old classic — Crème de Framboise, lychee liqueur, raspberry purée, topped with sparkling wine; and the Crouching Tiger is the perfect summer quencher — lemon, fresh coriander and kaffir lime with Tanqueray, topped with ginger beer. The perfect place to ‘private party’ and get kaboodled in the Cross.
