The food here is very different from many other places i’ve been to, in a good way. very relaxing and the setting is awesome.

Great food and drink choices for allergies and dietary concerns. The food is always fabulous, but the service can be chaotic, though always friendly, when busy. Don’t go if you are in a hurry!

This place is quite hidden but is a real gem. It is not just a nice, cozy café but the food is great. They offer lots of healthy dishes, including vegetarian. Food presentation is remarkable and all glasses and plates have a vintage look that makes you want to take pictures of everything you eat. I ordered the burger, which was absolutely delicious and filling, and some nachos to share, also amazing. One of the best places for lunch in Port Noarlunga!

So many choices! I love that here there are so many tasty, nutritious options on the menu. Very well priced with most specials being $ 15 for a decent sized meal. The red curry was good, not really all that spicy but it was good enough. The chicken and veg lasagne looks fantastic, that will be my choice next time I think.

This is an awesome hidden spot in pt. Noarlunga! I remember the menu had so many healthy options, it was hard to choose. The inside is really cute and there is a health food shop attached to it, so yo can browse while waiting for your meal. They also do high teas, which you need to book ahead. Worthwhile a visit for sure

This place is like finding gold at the end of a rainbow. It really is such a refreshing break from the usual food that is available this side of town. I had an amazing soup, and this tea that was soothing and beautiful(I imagine as close as tea can get to a massage without the situation getting crazy weird). The set up is hipster-ish but I’m going to guess accidentally, I suppose it’s like if your really cool aunt had decorated the place; with nicnaks from her global adventures and a nod towards an eclectic vintage market. A plus for everyone, it’s pretty healthy and they do afternoon tea, I can’t vouch for the afternoon/high tea, but if it’s as good as the rest of the food i would get booking now. Okay now stop reading and go to noarlunga. (I never thought I would say those words)

Today, was my first time visiting The Fleurieu Pantry which makes me both sad and happy, sad that I didn’t enjoy this AMAZING food earlier but happy I decided to visit it and enjoy it now! This lovely fully licensed café has a cosy, old fashion setting and vibe to it with natural lighting has the sun peeks through the roof, so beautiful. I ordered the Yogi Bear smoothie and a Tandoori Chicken salad which included free range chicken breast, with gourmet salad greens, roast veggies, feta, extra light sour cream & mango chutney and I hope reading this, is making your mouth water just as much as mind did! This salad was one of the best salads I’ve had, all the flavors worked beautifully together. The staff were so friendly and sweet, double checking if anything was needed. I’ve heard great things about their desserts which will be my choice for next time as I’ll be visiting this lovely café much more. Keep up the beautiful work Fleurieu Pantry!

Fleurieu Pantry is unique, from the moment you approach it. Which is off Gawler St either via an alley or through a homewares store — much like a secret speakeasy. The Fleurieu Pantry is part of the Eat Local South Australia movement, supporting local produce. They also support all different types of dietary requirements, including gluten free, vegan, raw and paleo. Once you make your way through the entry door at the end of the alley, the café opens out and up. It almost feels like a garden party at your eclectic aunt’s house. It feels fun and buzzes with chatter and energy. Table service is friendly and attentive but not at all intrusive. As well as a menu of regular favourites, there is always a substantial specials menu. Vegan and gluten free options are well marked. The smoothies and juices come served in mason jars with handles and wide straws. The serve is large enough to have you sipping before, during and after your meal. Local favourite Goodiesons Beers are also available, as well as organic wine from Battle of Bosworth. The wait for meals is under ten minutes, even when it is very busy. To pass the time there are cookbooks to browse or card games on the tables to keep you entertained. Mr Wino’s green curry looked really impressive, with fat, fresh prawns(tails on) and a mixture of black & basmati rice. The sauce was flavoursome with Thai basil, a hint of chilli and lime juice and the veggies still had bite. The Veggie Slice special was a frittata of sweet potato & zuchinni plus black rice. It was a large serve and tasty napped with a generous portion of basil sauce. The side salad was napped with tasty balsamic dressing and a crunchy seed & pepita mix. The choc-orange cheesecake is raw and vegan and totally delightful. A date & nut base gives way to a so smooth chocolatey interior and a rich choc-orange ganache scattered with cocoa nibs. Each time I have dined at The Fleurieu Pantry I have been impressed by it’s garden party atmosphere, table service, luxe handwash & cream in the bathroom, eat local /low waste philosophy, vegan options and secret hidey-hole access way. There’s a lot to love here.

We stopped in for some dinner, while waiting for our kids. I started with a Broccoli soup which was fantastic. Full of flavour and very filling. I then went on to a mushroom stack with caramelised onion… Also fantastic. Took a little over an hour from entering so wasn’t too bad(and they said they weren’t busy it most tables were full)… We’ll be back again!

I love this spot! It is certainly a hidden gem in Port Noarlunga — I went recently with a friend who has lived in the area for a long time & didn’t realise it was there. It is well worth going in though. The décor is part hipster crossed with teahouse(a hipster teahouse?) & has a rustic charm to it. The menu has lots of vegetarian, gluten free & health concious options but doesn’t feel pretentious — everyone will find something they like the sound of. The food itself is delicious & service is fast. Leave room to try a smoothie — the Yogi Bear(peanut butter) one is to die for! Service is good, the meals are well priced & they are in the Entertainment Book which is a bonus. You can go in for a full meal(just check the opening hours, as another reviewer mentioned, they are a bit all over the place) or just pop in for afternoon tea. I have also had a high tea there before which was lovely. There are also some shelves selling recipe books, locally made beauty products & health food products. Allow some time to enjoy The Fleurieu Pantry, it has something for everyone!

A real gem for Port Noarlunga. It’s cosy & intimate, terrific food & coffee, friendly staff & has a great gift shop too, to browse before or after your meal.

Absolutely in love with this place… remember to head down the alley way or go via the gift shop as it is a little bit tucked away(which is also nice). I have been there a few times for lunch and the thai chicken dumplings are out of this world — amazing, so fresh and tasty. Their menu specials are always changing and adopt fresh, in season selections. Their menu consists of healthy, gluten free, vegetation, raw and wholefood. The setting is very cool and get a nice relaxing feeling atmosphere. A lot of their artwork displayed for sale so it is constantly changing. If you are down south be sure to pop in. it is well worth it! Do check the opening times as they are not open for breakfast.

This is a little gem of a place in Port Noarlunga … if you can find it! There is an antique shop in the front — you can enter from there after having a bit of a browse, or from the ‘hallway’ area next door. We’ve been here a few times for lunch and dinner, and it never disappoints! Yesterday we came here for coffee and cake, which was amazing ;) The menu is chock full of gluten free and vegetarian options — and they are fantastic choices, not just ‘token’ menu items(the vegetarian lasagne is to die for!). Their kids meals are great too, since they are all served with mash potato instead of the usual fries, making them a much healthier choice. There is a vast array of interesting desserts on offer too — yesterday I had the chocolate and orange cake, which included an array of nuts and seeds, and my partner had the sticky date pudding(possibly the best I’ve ever tasted!). They sell amazing protein balls too, which look incredible — I’m looking forward to coming back and having one next time ;) Nice wholesome food, which makes you feel like you are making a healthier choice! The setting is like an old-fashioned summerhouse — very charming and relaxing. Service isn’t super-quick — they need extra staff during busier periods. I would have given them 5 stars, but their opening hours are a bit limiting(we usually dine out on Sunday nights), and they aren’t opening on Saturday nights«at the moment» either(not sure if this will change in the near future?). Gawler Street in Port Noarlunga has become a bit of a foodie haunt — so while you’re here, make sure you pop in to The Fleurieu Pantry!
