This was my first go karting experience ever, believe it or not, as part of a work Christmas party, and I must say that I went in skeptical but came out having had loads of fun. I thought this was kid stuff, but you can really fly on these things. You might be surprised to see the competitive streak it brings out in some people. Our final was a brutal affair that ended up seeing one team member make a (non urgent) trip to hospital — staff handled it all very well, and despite the fact that ‘accidents happen’ they really drive in that safety comes first.
So driving is good fun… hanging at the bar, less so. With video games and neon lights it all feels a bit like a timezone from the 90s. We had a function room and the food was basic BBQ that was fine but nothing special. They only had like 3 bottles of wine stocked too, which between 15 people did not go far. Overall for work functions I’d recommend coming for some laps but eating and drinking elsewhere.

Awesome track! Great karts! Good location if your close to Melbourne CBD. Defiantly recommend if you enjoy a bit of racing.

Came here a few times, once for a work function and once for a birthday party.
Everything ran like clockwork during my visits however I must say I prefer outdoor karting. Although the closer-​to-​CBD location of Auscarts may be better for you corporate types organising your corporate days.
