The brunch was so-so. I had the baked eggs and they were a little overcooked. The toast that came with it was WHITE bread and no butter!!! For $ 14 I would have expected some better quality bread and basic condiments. The dishes were presented well and I wanted to taste all the dishes I saw — but question whether they would taste good.

Coffee is really average and service haphazard. Staff are preoccupied with themselves. The kitchen is so slow it’s painful. Our opinion– could be good but let down by appalling attitude. Too many other great inner west places to bother until there is improvement.

Went to Brighton The Corner for the Friday night set menu. $ 50 a head for a 4 course dinner. Was very impressed with the food and service. Great selection of wine and beer. Highly recommended Brighton for a Friday night meal.

Breakfast: The salmon is lightly smoked in-house and a generous amount was provided. The rough cut fried potato are crunchy and you find yourself wanting to eat the big bits, not just searching for the crispy small chunks. Every time I have been here the poached eggs have been outstanding, with rich orange yolks. Coffee: Definitely a good strength coffee, but small in size the soy milk just tasted a bit unique.(only happened once) Choice: The menu could be limited for choice and does not appear to have changed since I have been coming back. Could use some variety. Been here for breaky 3 times now and if breakfast stays the same, there will be more business here. Note: It appears this place went through major renovation and change some time, so if you disappointed several years ago, then it may be worth a visit now.
