You’ve probably drove or walked past this place a hundred times.
If you could compare it to anything it has a Perth City Farm kind of vibe, with the raw space available to hire for events, and a café attached.
Ricardo looks after both areas. He has returned to Perth after living overseas for many years. He has a passion for the arts and wants the people of Perth to discover and use his awesome Gallery space.
You can hire the inside for all kind of events; birthday parties, film screenings, workshops, shows, art exhibitions, you name it he’ll probably do it. It’s a very reasonable hire price compared to other less interesting venue options.
He opened the Backdoor Van more recently, from which he sells $ 3 coffee (bargain) and other handmade food and drinks. Ricardo is of Italian heritage and has worked in hospitality for a long time.
There’s a little garden and courtyard, with sunflowers growing along the fence. Retro couches and pillows are scattered around for you to sit on. It would be a lovely spot for a catch up in the sunshine with friends.
