Outerlimitz

Outerlimitz is a cutting edge hard core skate shop.
I would have given this store the highest rating if I was a skater or it stocked any womens clothing– lucking out on both of these departments I was left browsing for an imaginary boyfriend (who was a skating pro.. .with great taste!) The stock is cool, the counter doubles as a transparent display case with all of the tracks, tools and wheels any skate boarder could hope for and the T selection along the back wall is cool because each design is a one off (or all that is on display on the floor.) This makes it inherently cooler (being original) and less of a mass consumerist chain like other «surf» and «skate» poser stores.
A point of difference with this genuine skate store is that they also cater to the roller bladers of the world– bridging the gap of elitisism that I believed existed between the skaters and bladers. The merchandise is original and the decks look cool– the stickers (while temporary depending on the grinding you do) are hot and the range of blades looked tough. Price wise, you’d expect to pay around the $ 100-​$ 250+ mark for a new board and accessories– dependent on your taste (and budget.) The guys behind the counter look ike they’re having a good time and the set up– decked out walls, skate videos on plasmas around the store and a flat red couch in the centre makes for a cruisey aircon-​ned skaters hang out.. . IF you can skate.
