I visit jb hifi nearly every week. The staff are always willing to help out and are knowledgable about their respective areas
On a recent visit, I pre-​ordered a PS4. Weeks later I traded in a heap of games and offset it to the pre-​order. While doing this, they mentioned the price of the ps4 had reduced and that when I pick it up I will get the lower price.
On day of pick up they were really fast with fulfilling my order.
I will preorder again.

About the only thing I do not like about JB is how much I can spend in store!
They have everything you expect across the music, video, games and accessories categories of course.
Depending on the day you might hear something new you like as the staff play an eclectic mix to cover all genres and tastes…
The staff are the best thing about JB, they are ultra helpful, usually very knowledgable and genuinely seem happy to be at work and are not fazed by strange queries and request!

Before the internet killed music forever, large music retailers like JB’s came along and discounted all the cool stores out of the market. While I can never forgive them this as it led to the closure of some of my favourite stores, that doesn’t stop JB Hifi from being a cool place to indulge my now pretty retro CD fetish. Sometimes there’s nothing quite so satisfying as spending an hour perusing their exhaustive selection, finding an obscure You Am I album (or something like that) for ten bucks and taking it home to get all deep with it as though I am a teenager again. At ten dollars a unit, you have to wonder how much (if any) is going to the band, but it’s nice to enjoy an album like I used to in the age of downloading.
The store also carries a range of DVD’s and video games; if these are your bag, I suggest checking them out as they have very competitive prices. This holds true for their consumer electronics including TV’s and stereos; I’ve bought some high-​end consumer headphones very cheaply here that have proved great for home listening.
