The store is small, I’m talking two customers pack the place out tiny. The staff are nice, although the hungry jacks uniform is tacky(not their fault). Food is what you would expect from a place where the owner is hungry. Small burgers, I’ll be going to maccas next time.

This Hungry Jacks is the smallest I have ever seen. You could not swing a cat around in this store, you could not even swing around a kitten. This store has no free refill drink stations and tables are outside in the hot blistering heat. The shaded outdoor alfresco area has glass panels so you can enjoy the view of the riveting peek hour traffic on Beaufort street, if your into that pastime. One good thing is frozen cokes are only $ 1

Not the best — not the worst either. Sometimes they do have a broken frozen coke machine which is pretty devastating on a hot day.

I try not to eat fast food as much as possible but sometimes it’s the easiest, quickest and cheapest option if I need a quick bite to eat and I must say, I usually do love the Bacon Deluxe burgers. When you get food from a fast food joint like Hungry Jack’s, be prepared to be let down as usually they do stuff up or you feel gross making you regret your decision. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they don’t but you get what you pay for. One item I really do love though is the $ 1.00 frozen cokes! HATEHATEHATE when it’s a really hot summers day and your going through drive through to get a quick cool me down and they tell you the frozen drink machine is currently ‘defrosting’ AHHHHHHH! At this one particular Hungry Jack’s this seems to always happen around lunch time, which I would of though to be one of the busiest times of the day for customers. Another great product HJ’s has brought out is the Hungry Jack’s mobile app. You check in when your within 1 km to a HJ’s and then it gives you deals. Free drinks, chips, half price burgers or even 50% off your entire meal(I believe this is the best deal). You do kind of feel a bit cheap though as HJ’s is already so cheap but oh well!

Whilst working off a hangover following a few too many sherbets the night before I often find myself setting sail for the four corners of the junk food globe. During todays voyage I landed myself on this restaurant’s barbaric and savage shores. The local fare was an extremely complex engagement that left each member of the travelling party’s stomach confused and spirit disappointed. Fast food certainly has its place on such a journey and other locations on the fast food map do offer welcome respite when negotiating certain travails. But this Hungry Jack’s in particular, for whatever reason, really plumbs a new low. I mean, even the coke tasted terrible. 6050HJ’s?! WTF?!

If you want to buy your dinner with the change you just picked up off the footpath, come here. Ick! I just cannot get my mind, or mouth around Hungry Jacks, and any fast food chain actually. The Mt Lawley branch has recently had a facelift(peer pressure form Grill’d perhaps?) and I have to say it does look a lot smarter(it was truly horrendous before) but this will still not encourage me to step one pinky toe inside. I don’t care how cheap a cheeseburger(95 cents, thats how cheap!) at HJ’s is, I will gladly pay the $ 10 extra, twice, for a REAL(real, meaning; made from actual animal and plant product) burger up the road.

I was reluctant to review a fast food chain, especially one as big as Hungry Jacks. However, I felt it should be mentioned that this is by far the worst Hungry Jacks I have had the displeasure of eating at. The service is slow, orders are frequently incorrect and the fries taste like the machine hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. Don’t do it.
