What’s not to love about Hop’s bar it’s pretty funny the only place I can take my boyfriend shopping is food shopping or to the markets. What is even better about the markets is a) you can do all your food shopping there and b) there’s a bar there. After hours of perusing it was nice to sit outside Hop’s bar with a gin and tonic. From 10 – 6 they offer meal deals which include a pint or house wine and fish and chips or burger/hot dog and chips for $ 11.90. The prices are fairly average with $ 9.30 for a mixed drink. The guy behind the bar was really friendly and talkative and for some reason I’m not really sure what he got onto the subject of a lady who passed away who used to work in the bar they had the bar open all weekend and all the money they raised went to her children, which I thought was nice. There is also a TV here playing cricket so if you go here with your boyfriend he can catch up on the soul crushingly boring sports updates.
