I’m a big coffee loyalist. Once I find something good I tend to stick to it. Cibo is my latest good thing and considering its close proximity to Lowdown, I highly recommend giving it a shot(coffee pun intended). My coffee loyalty tends to boil down to a few simple things. Considering we have many coffee shops in the city, we are often spoiled for choice, so my choices are based on a few simple things. 1. The Coffee — Not too strong, not too milky. The thing I love about the coffee at Cibo, is that its not extra charge for an extra shot or soy milk! 2. The Service — The thing that brought me back to Cibo was the service. The staff at Cibo are always super friendly, chatty and remember your name and orders. 3. Availability and range of food — Cibo has everything from icecream, to sandwiches, to muffins. However, the thing Im hooked on is the Peanut Butter Brownie raw balls! Healthy and amazingly good for when you are craving chocolate. Not so healthy but yum option, Breakfast Pizza! This is hugely popular. 4. Loyalty program — If someone rewards me based on the amount of coffees I buy with them, I’m in! I just found out last week that Cibo have been approved their liquor license so I look forward to seeing how that works!

Well this may seem crazy to give a café 5 stars when i have only had coffee there but really, my experience here has been 5 stars. As my usual coffee shop was closed over the Christmas break, my work friends and I tried Cibo to see what it was like and it was a great move. They do an amazing soy mocha which I always find hard to get and they are reasonably priced — and they don’t charge for soy which I love! After only two days of coming here the girl taking orders remembered our names which is a nice touch. Everyone is always friendly and smiling and the baked good there look so good that I can’t wait to try them all out!

Roaming the streets for a cup of coffee on Christmas Eve(I was one of the few people working that day) a co-worker recommended Cibo. I stopped in to order my usual long black. The service was excellent! The barrista apologised for the wait(I didn’t feel I had waited long at all) and even offered to make a coffee at the end of the day for me. I was happy with the quality of my coffee as well.

Brand spanking new coffee shop in Cloisters Square! Cloisters Square has been undergoing a massive renovation over the last couple of months! Finally lots of new businesses are opening up and Cibo Espresso is one of them. I popped in here on Tuesday morning to grab a coffee to help me through my day! A nice little eatery with super friendly staff, there was a very short wait for coffee and then I was out the door! Really good tasting coffee and for $ 4.00 for a Grande with Soy Milk you can’t go wrong! Whilst I was in there I did notice a generous selection of lunch items in a cabinet as well as a good selection of cakes and breakfast items. I will update my review once I have swung back for lunch sometime soon!
