After a hard work out giving the car a good work out with the industrial sucker, it was time for a well earned coffee and there was one store I’ve been keen to try out since I came across it last week. Tucked away in an open style arcade which was once closed in many moons ago, is an Italian style patisserie along The Broadwalk Arcade, just near the three level public carpark. First time I walked past Dolce Mia, my eyes and tastebuds were glued to the magical wonders on the other side of the glass windows. After vacuuming the car, today was their lucky day. Mama mia the sweets look delizioso. For the love dripping saliva running down my legs, what do I choose? I decided to compare the cannelloni to the patisserie at Blacktown. A difference though is that Dolce Mia has a range of flavours and I chose the hazelnut. I gave my order for a yummy plate of sugary goodness and the usual cappuccino where a friendly young man took my order and showed me the brand of coffee bean they use when I asked which bean they use. There on my butt I sat, resting in the airconditioning where in a timely manner it came. One cannelloni and a large cappuccino. Both looked incredibly tasty leaving to wish I brought my little camera to take a photo of them together before consumation. The cannelloni was first. My teeth weren’t all the way through when I tasted the pastry and filling which got the food sensors in the brain tingling. It was that good. Then it was the coffee’s turn. A lot was resting on an Italian style coffee at an Italian patisserie. One sip of their Portioli coffee beaned cappuccino and perfetto. I give the service five stars, the cannelloni five stars and the coffee five stars. Can’t wait to go back to try out other treats. I have a new local favourite. Their Facebook:
