It’s always a sad, morbid day when a place of delicious gifts of the God and Goddess of the Almighty Coffee Bean has lost its way. Kingston & Co was always a café I would suggest to others yet alas, this is no more. After giving them a few little breaks to try out their coffee just in case they were having a bad day, I have to down grade my rating to two stars. Their service is still good but something has happened to their coffee skills. It no longer tastes good. In fact, it is now bin worthy. I don’t know if their food still tastes delicious as I won’t sit and eat at a café when I know that their coffee product is below par. Sadly, all good things must come to an end.

Great coffee, great food, great service. The breakfasts are superb. We had kings breakfasts, omelette and my son had a kings works burger. which he said was the best breakfast burger he has ever tasted !! Stayed in penrith for 3 nights and had breakfast here each morning. didn’t bother looking for an alternative as we were very very happy with Kingston & Co. Would highly recommend.

Me and my husband go for breakfast here quite regularly. Food is always good as is the coffee. Staff friendly too! Great little place! Edit; new chef is shocking :( Messed up an order a little while ago, and today, with 3 other people forgot to cook my order and then rushed it and nothing was cooked so left without eating! Not staffs fault they gave our coffees for free and didn’t charge for mine. Won’t be going if that chef is cooking! So disappointed!

Great haloumi burger and soy latte. Great table service /friendly staff. Very nice atmosphere until a smoker lit up next to us. Thank God we were done.

heyyyyy woooorrrlllllddd! Definitely a fan of this joint. Caught up with a great friend over french toast and some awesome eggs benedict. I have to admit i’m not a big big critic of certain types of dishes, because i’m a big arse eater and i just think food is incredibly awesome so i just eat everything insight, but FRENCHTOAST! OHMAN, YOUHAVETOWHIPMEUP A GOODFRENCHTOAST! Toast that is french has to be spot on! I think in one of my reviews for Iconic Café, i was talking about Eggs Benedict and that you have to have the right bread to whip up a good dish, this is the same for French Toast. The type of bread that you use is pivotal in this dish and Kingston & Co. sure used the right bread! For me, personally, the bread used needs to be thick in order to soak up all the sweet goodness when frying the bread. I’m not sure what type of bread they used but it was HUGE! it was one thick slice of toast. I definitely didn’t leave the café hungry. It was served with cream, drizzled with honey and berries and coated with sugar. What i loved most about the bread was that it was the right amount of crunchiness, sogginess and sweetness. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I dont like french toast that is too sweet as well. You feel like you’re gonna have a heart attack at breakfast from the amount of sugar and fat in one dish! But it was just right! I am definitely a fan after having one of these babies! TOPNOTCHYA’LL, GOCHECKITOUT! XOXO
