I agree with Phoebe L. It was amazing when they just opened up. Food still remains about the same but service has really gone down hill. We waited for a table but the waitress ignored us so we found a table only to be acknowledged at that moment to get off the table as it was reserved. Service throughout was minimal and cold. When my husband was paying, I stood up to wait for him and the lady who was serving us the whole time asked if I was waiting to be served and needed a table. Up side is, they finally acknowledged me!

This place used to be amazing when it first opened. The customer service was friendly and efficient; the kitchen menu and baked goods were very tasty; and the close proximity to parramatta was a bonus. I went back a few times this month after a hiatus from coming here. And everything from the service and the food has fallen. The friendly staff that used to be here have been replaced by unfriendly staff, who looks bored and uninterested in serving you. My friend and I had the bacon and egg roll and the brioche bun was dry. Considering that this is a bakery, it was a little disappointing. I’ve also had the croissant and the pastry was chewy and stale tasting. I used to come here to pick up the baked goods(they had amazing tarts and breads) but after these recent encounters, I am put off by the unfriendly service and the average food. It’s a shame because the industrial décor and the idea of this café is really lovely but I will not be returning and would not recommend it. In fact the new café next door is a much better alternative.

Well. I found this place the opposite to awesome, I honestly don’t understand what the other reviews are on about. it convinced me visit here but I was let down! In truth, we didn’t intentionally go here, we were walking past post doctor’s visit and on way to Coles. Because yes, it is located conveniently in a courtyard next to Coles Entrada complex in Parra. From an outward point of view, this café looks atypically heading towards the indie design direction with it’s own touches of construction themed décor, like it’s namesake. We were seated outside in their terribly constructed alfresco area, by means of wonky furniture and uncomfortable seats. The inside only had group size tables and was very hot so better outside still. There’s a very open kitchen and one chef doing his thing. There were less pastries and baked goods, despite us being there at lunchtime. The waiter gave us our menus and we ordered drinks. She took the drink order and returned 15mins later to tells us they were unable to make the juices because they had run out. So we asked what was available, she said orange juice, so we went with the orange juice. The waitress returns again 15mins later to tell us they were sold out of orange juice. Seriously? There’s a Coles right there, go buy some oranges and juice them up! It’s not like we arrived at their near close of business, this is early lunchtime! The way the waitress made it sound like was as if they just couldn’t be bothered. Anyway, it turned out they only had their coffees or water. Water it is, the table water already on the table. The breakfast/brunch menu was small and basic. We chose French toast and baked eggs. There was an odd flavour to the french toast that didn’t sit well with me. My partner was dismissive about the baked eggs; he’s had better elsewhere. Overall found this café boring, displeasing and unaccomodating, and all $ 40+ for just two dishes is outrageous but typical of these indie café up and comers. You can charge those prices when you can actually dish your food out well and drinks are available! We were so thirsty we ran to Coles afterwards to get some drinks.

This place is awesome. Great food, great bread — but only good coffee. But honestly you don’t really come here for the coffee but for the amazing bakery that this place is. If you simply want coffee I’d head to Circa — but if you want good food and baked goods then this is the place for you. This café is in the middle of an apartment block courtyard. So the view is not really a view, but don’t let that turn you off — this is a brilliant bakery! The café menu is very small, but everything is good. I personally love the organic mushroom and pesto, always good. However, the star attraction to this place is the baked goods. The brownies here are amazing and the carrot cake is close to the divine. This café is decked out quite simply, so if you like gimmicks and hipster seating you might be a but disappointed. The services here is good and quick — and because if the cafes location it is generally not overly crowded making easier to get tables without waiting.

I live right near this place, and I love it. It’s got a great ambience, lovely food, and at an amazing price point. You get the feeling that everything is baked with love… and I mean that in the least-sappy sounding way possible. Meals for lunch at about $ 10, including main and salad – hefty portions to fill you. I had the lasagne most recently. Honestly, when you find a gem, you search for something that’s gone amiss(as if it’s too good to be true), and I haven’t found anything here, yet. It’s the perfect bakery café.

Great new café located at the Entrada in North Parramatta near Coles. They bake daily in house and have delicious cakes, slices, pies and muffins to choose from. Open plan indoor dining as well as alfresco dining options. The Colombian Reserve coffee is tasty. Friendly staff and great daily specials for breakfast and lunch. Nice to see some cool new cafes popping up in Parra Area.

Trendy new café with a very industrial vibe in North Parramatta. Popped in after having a coffee from their take-away cart at the farmers markets a few weeks earlier, at that point in time, the café was still in fit-out stage. The space is now officially open and ready for trade. It looks great with a very open kitchen, large service counter, concrete floors & ½ vintage ½ industrial furniture — oil tubs included. We had take away coffees and a choc croissant which was demolished before our coffees even arrived. But this says more about how tasty the croissant was v’s the speed of the service. The coffee was also awesome — Columbian beans. The music was top 40 and the staff(all 6 of them) seemed to be having a ball at work. The only negative(which I haven’t dropped a star for) was that the owner approached me when she saw that I was taking a couple of photos and accusingly said«I don’t know what you are doing but are you stealing my ideas!?» I quickly explained that her business wasn’t on Unilocal yet and I was adding it on her behalf. She very dismissively said«I don’t understand that silly stuff. I don’t like it. I have a girl who does all that online stuff for me» She then went on to tell me that she had a couple in a week earlier who were also taking photos as they were planning to open their own café near by, the owner while repeating this story to me told me that she had said to them«Well I can cook and you can’t» it gave a very bitter impression and left me thinking that perhaps the owner should let her floor team interact with customers and she can continue with the cooking. I will be back to try some of the menu items as the food that was being prepared in the open kitchen did look awesome(brioche buns, hand made burger patties, crispy bacon, soft poached eggs…) I just hope the remainder of the staff don’t learn their customer service skills from the boss.
