There is not much to say about Asahi Sushi(the fact that it shares its name with a popular Japanese beer is purely coincidental). It is just a sushi stall located in Paddington Central shopping centre. I find their sushis to be pretty mediocre but if you are passing by and need a quick snack, I guess it does the trick. An odd thing about Asahi Sushi is that they are open at odd times, I often find that they are shut when I walk past in the late afternoon. They also do not have a phone or website therefore it is impossible to find the stall’s opening hours. Anyway, onto the sushi, at $ 2.50 I would be expecting something pretty good. Unfortunately, the sushis here are pretty dry. After a couple of bites of my chicken and avocado sushi, I felt that I had to drown it in soy sauce to finish it. I am assuming Asahi Sushi’s main clientele are people who work in the area, I can’t imagine why anyone would travel to eat their sushi. The sushi here is not awful, but I have definitely had better.
