Prendiville Catholic College

No one is going to enjoy high school but there was a few elements of Prendiville that made it bearable. I’m glad my mother sent me to Catholic school. I believe it gave me a strong set of morals, an ambitious drive and an air of pretentiousness which I am yet to decide whether is a pro or a con.
The most amazing part of Prendiville is the staff. Some teachers were real drags (it’s unavoidable) but the majority of the staff were supportive, caring and warm. Amazing amenities and right near the ocean, I would not have wanted to be sent to any of the other northern suburbs private schools.
The retreats were an amazing way to bond with classmates and I still share friendships with people I met in high school. The school drives results and whilst they don’t leave children behind, they do expect hard work to be put in to ensure a high calibre of education. The year I graduated, Prendiville was ranked 24^th out of all the schools in WA for TEE results.
I may talk about Prendiville it’s the worst school ever but that’s only because I’m still bitter about their oppressive attitude towards uniform to the point of ridiculousness. I was a pretty trendy kid, but I wasn’t allowed to wear a scarf without my jumper and my blazer on at the same time. Like, seriously guys. I got the tenth highest TEE score out of the whole cohort, shut up and let me wear my scarf.
