Windsor Gardens Fish & Chips

As locals would know this place has changed countless times over the years and in the last few months it’s changed hands again.
I no longer live locally, but my parents just live around the corner, I was on my way their house and needed a snack, as it was a public holiday this was one of the places that was open. I had driven past their signs for the past few weeks advertising dumplings so I thought today is the day!
Ordering dumplings isn’t your usual Fish and Chippy snack but the new owners have put an Asian twist! The shop still offers your standard Fish, Chip, Chicken, Burger and Hot Dogs delights but also offer Asian treats of Satays, Spring Rolls and Fried Rice.
My dumplings were nothing special, but were yummy and filled a hole. The service was friendly, however I was disappointed after looking through the menu there were 3 different varieties of dumplings which I wasn’t told about when I ordered… I could’ve had a variety rather than the choice they made for me.
Over all it wasn’t a great or a poor experience, just OK. I’ll go back again sometime when I’m hungry and visiting the parentals.
